Work on the demarcation of the border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan is actively underway and could be completed before the Nooruz holiday, the head of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan Kamchibek Tashiyev told reporters on January 18.
Tashiyev noted that significant progress has been made in the preparation of documents necessary for the definition of the border and the demarcation of the demarcation line. With the completion of these works, it is aimed to resolve border disputes between the two countries and increase stability in the region.
