Pakistan Prime Minister Sharif to Visit Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in February.

It was announced that Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in February 2025. It was stated that the visit aims to deepen relations between the two countries and Pakistan and increase regional cooperation.

During the visit, Prime Minister Sharif is expected to meet with the leaders of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan and hold talks in various fields, especially trade, energy, transportation and cultural ties. The talks are expected to contribute to concrete steps towards joint projects. This visit is seen as part of Pakistan’s efforts to strengthen regional cooperation. It also reflects Islamabad’s determination to strengthen its ties with Central Asia. It is expected that the bilateral and multilateral contacts to be held as part of Prime Minister Sharif’s program will pave the way for new agreements and partnerships between the parties.
