New Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan presents credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia

 New Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Russia Kubanychbek Bokontayev presented copies of his credentials to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Galuzin on August 30.

According to the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan, the parties discussed issues of Kyrgyz-Russian relations, including deepening political dialogue and increasing cooperation in trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other areas of bilateral cooperation.

The sides also exchanged views on upcoming events at the highest and high levels within the framework of international organizations.

On the same day, the Ambassador was received by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in connection with the beginning of his diplomatic mission.

The Ambassador assured his readiness to strengthen Kyrgyz-Russian relations both in a bilateral format and within the EAEU, CIS and other multilateral platforms.
