Mongolia’s President to make a state visit to Uzbekistan in June

The Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Mongolia held political consultations in Ulaanbaatar. The parties discussed of bilateral cooperation and the upcoming state visit of the President of Mongolia to Uzbekistan in June.

The delegation of Uzbekistan was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov and the delegation of Mongolia was led by Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Amartuvshin Gombosuren.

The state and prospects for further development of Uzbek-Mongolian cooperation were discussed. Particular attention was paid to accelerating the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level, as well as the state visit of the President of Mongolia to Uzbekistan in June of this year, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.

The parties vowed to realize the existing significant potential for strengthening partnerships in the political, trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

In addition, proposals to increase cultural-humanitarian and tourist exchanges were considered.
