Mongolian authorities plan to open an embassy in Tashkent in the near future.
The relevant project has already been presented to the Chairman of the Parliament of Mongolia Zandanshatar Gombojav. The staff of the diplomatic mission will consist of three employees. The costs of maintaining the embassy are included in the budget for 2024.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Uzbekistan currently represents one of the largest markets in the Central Asian region.
