Batbold Sandagdorj, State Secretary of the Ministry of Roads and Transport of Mongolia, and Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, signed an agreement on aviation relations to mark the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states.
The agreement will expand and enhance international cooperation in the aviation sector between Mongolia and Italy, establish a legal framework for direct flights between the two countries and lay the foundation for broader cooperation in various sectors. It will help promote economic relations and increase trade turnover. According to a statement from the Ministry of Road and Transport Development, the parties agreed to cooperate in developing aviation relations between the two countries, expanding air transport services at the regional and international level, increasing cooperation in road transport and other areas.
