Mongolia and India consider expanding business cooperation

President of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) Tur-Od Lkhagvajav met with Ambassador of India to Mongolia Atul Malhari Gotsurve on January 6. The two sides discussed bilateral cooperation in economy, trade, and business between Mongolia and India, Montsame reported.

At the meeting, President of the National Chamber Tur-Od introduced potential areas of collaboration with India. Specifically, he discussed exploring opportunities to cooperate with Indian companies in high technology, artificial intelligence, and information technology sectors, creating conditions for inviting highly skilled professionals from India to Mongolia, integrating India’s leading expertise in the education sector of Mongolia, and collaborating on technological and English language training initiatives.

President Tur-Od Lkhagvajav and Ambassador Atul Malhari Gotsurve also exchanged views on fostering business collaboration in infrastructure, construction, investment and finance, and the automotive industry. Regarding the automotive sector, they discussed opportunities to partner with globally recognized Indian companies, such as Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Motors, to supply suitable vehicles to Mongolia.
