The fourth political consultation meeting between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia was held in the capital Ulaanbaatar on April 14. During the meeting, the sides shared Mongolia’s and Croatia’s long-term development policies and goals and discussed in detail the possibilities of expanding cooperation. It was agreed to continue joint efforts to give economic content to bilateral relations, increase trade and investment, deepen cooperation in forestry management, tourism and education. Reiterating their commitment to strengthen cooperation within the framework of the United Nations and other international organizations, the sides also exchanged views on a number of international and regional issues. The meeting was chaired on behalf of Mongolia by Munkhtushig Lkhanaajav, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and on behalf of Croatia by Frano Matušić, State Secretary for Political Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.
