President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held telephone conversations with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahman. In addition to the issues on the regional and international agenda, bilateral relations and cooperation opportunities between the countries were discussed.
During the phone calls, the latest developments in the Caucasus region, economic cooperation opportunities and joint projects were emphasized. They also emphasized the impact of global developments on the region and the importance of increasing coordination between the countries in this process. President Ilham Aliyev reiterated Azerbaijan’s efforts towards regional peace and stability and emphasized the need to strengthen friendly relations between the countries. The leaders of Russia, Belarus and Tajikistan reiterated their determination to further develop cooperation with Azerbaijan in all areas.
