The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu received today in an introductory meeting the new Head of the Liaison Office of the Hellenic Republic, Ambassador Heleni Vakali.
Osmani welcomed Ambassador Vakali and conveyed the readiness of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to deepen cooperation between the two countries through increased economic cooperation in the energy, tourism and investment sectors.
In this spirit, Osmani praised the establishment of relations between Kosovo and Greece, emphasizing that our institutions are committed to expand and intensify relations in all areas, including the establishment of diplomatic relations and cooperation in the process of integration into European structures. -Atlantic as a key priority of the Republic of Kosovo.

Osmani and Ambassador Vakali agreed to increase inter-institutional cooperation and communication in areas of mutual interest.
Greece is one of the five countries of the European Union that has not yet recognized Kosovo, but this country has its Liaison Office in Pristina. Apart from Greece, Kosovo’s independence has not been recognized even by EU members: Slovakia, Cyprus, Romania and Spain.
