The regular 8th meeting of the Joint Committee of the governments of Mongolia and the Republic of Korea has started in Seoul.
Chief Cabinet Secretary of Mongolia Nyam-Osor Uchral, the head of the Korean section and Second Vice Foreign Minister of South Korea Kang In-sun are participating in the meeting together with officials of relevant ministries and organizations.
The sides noted the steady development of relations between the two countries in all areas as part of the strategic partnership, strengthened trust, and regular visits and high-level negotiations. Due to this, the Intergovernmental Joint Committee plays an important role in the development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, the interlocutors emphasized.
The parties also highlighted the importance of concluding an agreement on economic partnership between Mongolia and Korea in order to increase trade and investment, open up wider market and business opportunities for entrepreneurs and enterprises, and further expand economic cooperation.
