At the stage of its development, humanity effectively uses the knowledge and experience of its predecessors and at the same time it continues to enrich it with new experience.
Since today Uzbekistan is entering a new stage of development, new development and new social philosophy are being promoted, that is, the phenomenon of “New Uzbekistan”. For this reason, today we must effectively use the national heritage of our ancestors, which serves to unite society around the philosophy of this idea.
Finding the right path in the intense flow of ideological information, realizing the national identity of young people and forming patriotic competencies is for us the most optimal and correct way to use excellent knowledge and skills in the field of independence and patriotism, family life, the desire for enlightenment, education and upbringing, which were imbued with the ideas of the Jadidist movement of our ancestors in the recent past.
The head of our state stated: “…it is not fitting for us to run after what glitters abroad, to serve it as if it belonged to a foreigner, and to blindly follow others. Time shows how appropriate his thoughts are, especially in the area of spirituality.” There are many examples from the history of mankind that the education and spirituality of youth cannot be formed by foreign ideas and ideologies, and the lack of spirituality and ideas leads any society to decline, weakens public policy and governance, causes corruption, crime and immorality to take root.
The Jadidism movement first enters society with a gentle step, that is, in the form of culture and art. Theaters are organized. Plays are written and staged, various dramatized life events, like a mirror, enter the public and begin to illuminate the everyday problems of the people. A mood of light humor is forming among the people. The next stage of the Jadidists is satire, that is, bitter laughter. On the big stages, Behbudi’s “Padarkush” and Hamza Hakimzada Niyazi’s “Boy ila khizmatchi” will be performed.

Our Jadidis paid great attention to education as the most important factor in development. In particular, the practice and scientific and methodological works of Abdullah Avloni in the field of education reveal the pedagogical and managerial aspects of the teacher’s activity in the development of the education sector. Understanding education and training as a dual field, eliminating school problems directly by the teacher, in-depth study of the student’s needs, especially the excellence of the aspects of creating all the necessary conditions for the student in the transfer of knowledge and skills reveal the fundamental essence of the reforms being implemented today in the field of education, will undoubtedly serve to improve.
In the book “New Strategy of Uzbekistan” by the head of our state, we substantiate the above examples by the fact that the issue of the formation and naturalization of the thinking of young people on the basis of education, like the idea put forward by our scientists and our Jadids, is not unfounded. based on education.
The spiritual image of the new Uzbekistan can be motivated by the expression of an enlightened state and a book-loving nation that strives for knowledge and thinking, as the dream of its contemporaries.
The idea that the new Uzbekistan begins at the school threshold is based on the fact that education reform is the most pressing issue.
The following words of Mahmudhuj Behbudi a century ago satisfy our need even today: “Pat the heads of the teachers working on the path of enlightenment! Help education! Raise discord from the middle! Do not leave the children of Turkestan without knowledge! Whatever you do, do it together with the community!”
Everyone knows that in our country, the development of the country, strengthening independence, ensuring the well-being of the people is connected with the sphere of science and education. Also, the people, especially the youth of the country, were assisted in acquiring knowledge, becoming financially, legally and medically literate, their social actions were formed in order to increase the social activity of youth in the life of society. And most importantly, they were provided with a legal basis and armed with programs serving specific plans and ideas. Increasing the initiative of intellectuals in the life of society today, promoting the effective use of their knowledge and experience is also based on the experience of our recent past. Therefore, although the newspaper “Jadid”, which was published this year on the initiative of the head of state, appeared in the press space as a tribune of intellectuals and educators of the country, in fact it is useful for the purpose of forming an enlightened media space that applies the knowledge and experience of intellectuals in the life of society.
This year, the organization of the international conference “Jadids: Ideas of National Identity, Independence and Statehood,” as well as the attraction to the country of a number of researchers of the ideas of Jadidism, reflects a scientific approach to the application of the ideas of the Enlightenment. Jadid movement to the present day, and at the same time we have a great opportunity to carry out reforms in the field of education, assuming that there is an experimental school. The scientific justification for these ideas is the creation of the Museum of the History of Jadidism.
Based on the goal 73 of the Development Strategy of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the in-depth study and wide promotion of the rich scientific heritage of our great ancestors, popular translations of works based on them are created by scientists of our country and popular science brochures are published, which perfectly serve the stated goals.
Also, for the purpose of deep study and wide dissemination of the rich scientific heritage of our great ancestors, the activities of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, the Center for Islamic Civilization, the international research centers of Imam Bukhari, Imam Termizi, Imam Moturidi have been created, and their activities are widely supported by the state. It would not be an exaggeration to say that in 2022, the 1050th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and encyclopedist Abu Rayhan Beruni will be widely celebrated at the international level under the auspices of UNESCO.
Today, spiritual and educational events are held among the youth of the microdistrict under the motto “School of ancestral heritage, lessons and education”, and it is also true that the national heritage of our ancestors is used in the formation of national identity and patriotism among the youth.
In order to increase national pride and patriotism among the youth, as well as further raise the military spirit of our national army, military patriotism projects “Expert of the Rules of Timur” and “Followers of Jalaluddin” are being organized. These projects are also notable because they directly rely on the legacy of their ancestors and are formed on its basis. However, the importance of our historical roots and understanding our identity are extremely important in educating young people on the basis of patriotism.
Today, great attention is paid to the legacy of our Jadids in the formation of literacy, which determines the cultural level of our people. In particular, the sections “Jadidlar” and “Allomalar” repeatedly publish popular treatises, autobiographical guides, philosophical and encyclopedic literature and masterpieces written by Jadids. Promotes the enrichment of information and resource centers with works by contemporary artists in order to popularize good actions that promote the ideas of enlightenment in our country and to form an adequate reaction to them among the population, especially young people.
The inability to look with indifference at the fate of the nation from the point of view of patriotism and nationalism, to put an end to ignorance, which is becoming a chronic disease of society, and to consider the education of children as the most important factor, is reflected in the scientific heritage of our ancestors, which has an eastern didactic basis. Effective use of the rich heritage of our ancestors and practical implementation in the approach to the very delicate and complex issue of raising a person in the New Uzbekistan – a new spiritual space – require us to consistently study and use proven experience based on modern technologies.
