Foreign Ministries of Mongolia and Finland hold political consultations

The Foreign Ministries of Mongolia and Finland held the second political consultation meeting on June 5.

The parties exchanged views on expanding and developing the friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Finland in spheres of trade, economy, investment, energy, environment, culture, and education.

The officials also discussed the possibilities of collaboration within Mongolia’s long-term and medium-term national development policies, the “One Billion Trees” national campaign and the “Mission-2100” Scholarship Program initiated by the President of Mongolia.

The meeting was co-chaired by Director General of Department for Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battungalag Gankhuurai and Deputy Director of the Department for the Americas and Asia at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland Juha Niemi.
