Foreign Ministers of Mongolia and Vietnam discuss issues of cooperation

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Bùi Thanh Sơn on September 24, Montsame reported.

At the meeting, Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh noted that this year marks the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Vietnam, an important partner to Mongolia in Southeast Asia, and emphasized that the friendly relations between the two countries have been successfully developing and strengthening.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Bui Thanh Son expressed commitment to actively cooperating in implementing a high-level visit to Mongolia with the widescale celebration 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations.

In addition, the two sides exchanged views on establishing the Joint Declaration on Strengthening the Comprehensive Partnership between Mongolia and Vietnam and realizing relations and cooperation in numerous fields including culture, tourism, trade, and investment.
