Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan discussed cooperation.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubayev and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtileu held a meeting aimed at strengthening relations and cooperation between the two countries. The meeting was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The ministers discussed a wide range of issues, in particular trade, economy, cultural exchanges, and regional security. They also exchanged views on the current situation in Central Asia and international issues. The need to deepen relations between the two countries based on strategic partnership was emphasized, and in this context, priority areas such as increasing trade volume, supporting investment projects and developing transport infrastructure were highlighted. The ministers also expressed their intention to strengthen cooperation in multilateral platforms such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Organization of Turkic States. At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to stay in close contact and continue working on concrete projects. It was noted that such high-level diplomatic contacts will make a significant contribution to the further development of relations between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
