First Deputy Chairman of Cabinet, UN Resident Coordinator discuss cooperation

First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet Adylbek Kasymaliev and United Nations (UN) Resident Coordinator Antje Grawe met to discuss cooperation issues. During the meeting, the sides assessed the current cooperation between the UN and the Kyrgyz Republic and exchanged views on future joint projects.
Adylbek Kasymaliev expressed gratitude for the UN’s support to the sustainable development of Kyrgyzstan and emphasized the need for further deepening of cooperation. Antje Grawe, in turn, expressed the UN’s commitment to maintaining a strong partnership with Kyrgyzstan. The meeting reaffirmed the importance of working together in priority areas such as social development, economic growth and environmental sustainability. It was also noted the need to harmonize the national development goals of Kyrgyzstan with the UN sustainable development goals. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue and strengthen joint initiatives.
