President of Turkmenistan: ‘New realities are emerging in the region’

New realities are emerging in the region, the President of Turkmenistan, Sardar Berdimuhamedov, said at the First Trilateral Summit of the Heads of State of Azerbaijan, Turkiye, and Turkmenistan, Report informs.

Berdimuhamedov said that important steps are being taken regarding cooperation in energy and transport: “Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Turkiye are taking multilateral and coordinated steps in this direction. We think that cooperation in the field of transport should be strengthened.”

According to the president, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Turkiye will continue cooperation.

The First Trilateral Summit of the Heads of State of Azerbaijan, Turkiye, and Turkmenistan is being held in the city of Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan.

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the President of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the President of Turkmenistan, Sardar Berdimuhamedov, are participating in the meeting.
