On July 19, 2021, Ambassador of Mongolia to Vietnam D. Bilegdorj met with Vice Foreign Minister of Vietnam Mr. Nguyen Minh Vu. The parties exchanged views on upgrading the level of Mongolia-Vietnam relations, establishing direct passenger and cargo flights between the two countries, supplying frozen meat, coking and energy coal from Mongolia to the Vietnamese market and increasing trade turnover between Mongolia and Vietnam. The Vietnamese side also expressed its intention to resume high-level mutual visits.
