Japan’s industrial output soars to record level in Nov

Thanks to recovery in automotive sector, Japan’s industrial production rises 7.2% month-on-month.

ANKARA (AA) – Industrial production in Japan posted a record rise of 7.2% in November compared to a month ago, according to the country’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry on Tuesday.

The rise was led by a recovery in the automotive sector, which struggled with supply chain shortages.

Exceeding market expectations, this figure had followed a more modest month-on-month rise of 1.8% in October.
