Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova, Ambassador of Norway John Mikal Kvistad and Ambassador of Sweden Tomas Danestad held a joint meeting on May 22, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reported.
The parties discussed the condition and prospects of interaction between Turkmenistan and the Scandinavian countries within the European Union, including in the context of the EU Global Gateway initiative.
The sides also expressed interest in developing trade, economic cooperation as well as expanding contacts among business circles.
The holding of Cultural Days, joint exhibitions and other social events were noted among the promising areas for promoting cultural and humanitarian partnerships.
