A time capsule laying ceremony was held at the site of construction of the small hydropower plant on the Jety Oguz river in Issyk-Kul region on October 10.
The cost of construction of the small hydropower plant makes $7.8 million.
The capacity of the small hydropower plant will make 6.7 MW. The average annual generation output will make 25.9 million kWh. Investors expect the given hydropower plant will meet 70% of electricity needs of Jety Oguz district.
The hydropower plant is expected to be commissioned in 2027.
