Chinese company starts construction of solar power plant in Tashkent region

Construction of a 263 MW solar photovoltaic power plant has started in Buka district of Tashkent region, Kun.uz reported.

The $150 million project is being carried out by the Chinese company China DaTang Overseas Investment, according to the regional administration’s press service.

Chinese investors plan to build the solar photovoltaic power plant, overhead power transmission lines over an area of 621 hectares.

The district governor and representatives of the Chinese company reviewed the progress of the joint project in Buka district.
