Chairman of the Mongolian Parliament meets with Chairman of the Chinese Political Consultative Conference

Speaker of the Parliament of Mongolia Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve met with Wang Huning, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (PRCPC). During the meeting, the development of bilateral relations between the two countries and regional cooperation issues were discussed.

The meeting focused on increasing cooperation, especially in the fields of trade, investment, cultural exchange and education. Zandanshatar said that Mongolia attaches great importance to strengthening relations with China and that this cooperation serves the interests of both countries. Wang Huning expressed China’s determination to maintain its strategic partnership with Mongolia. Huning emphasized that economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries should be further enhanced. The two sides also discussed regional security and stability issues. The two sides agreed that mutual support and cooperation on international platforms should be enhanced.
