Uzsuvtaminot gets new chief

Dilshod Azimov was appointed acting chairman of Uzsuvtaminot (government body responsible for water supply). The relevant decision was made on July 13 by the State Assets Management Agency.

Prior to this Dilshod Azimov served as First Deputy and Deputy Minister of Housing and Communal Services.

As reported earlier on July 11, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sacked the previous chairman of Uzsuvtaminot, Sahib Saifnazarov, who had held this position since 2019.

Uzsuvtaminot, founded in 2020, maintains and develops drinking water supply and sewerage systems in the country. The company is wholly owned by the State Assets Management Agency.
