Ercan Kahya to lead Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering
TASHKENT, Uzbekistan (AA) – Uzbekistan appointed a Turkish scholar on Wednesday as the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
Ercan Kahya, 58, is the former rector of Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (ITU-TRNC) from 2012 to 2020.
He will replace Ravshan Rashodovich Khakimov, who had been serving in the post since 2016.
