Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are seeking to join the Green Energy Corridor for electricity delivery from Central Asia to Europe, the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan said.
On November 22, the Azerbaijani Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbozov, and his Hungarian, Péter Szijjártó discussed the power exports to the European countries.In particular, they discussed plans to supply electricity along the Caspian-Black Sea-European energy corridor.The parties also underscored that cooperation in the field of energy would build a bridge between Azerbaijan and the European Union passing through Hungary.On November 14, in Baku the officials of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan discussed the project of transporting eco-friendly clean electricity through the territories of the countries to consumers of third countries. They also agreed to export electricity from Central Asia to Europe.
