Tajik armed forces hold anti-terror drills

Special forces units of the Tajik Armed Forces have held joint anti-terrorist exercises, according to the national news agency Khovar, Report informs referring to TASS.

The purpose of the exercises was to regulate martial law and take control of the public order, as well as the prosecution and elimination of illegal armed groups.

During the exercises, heavy armored vehicles, military aviation, special equipment and other modern types of weapons were used.

The course of the exercises was controlled by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic.
