Moscow to host Uzbek-Russian political consultations between Foreign ministries

Moscow to host the next round of political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Russia. According to the Foreign Ministry, the delegations were headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov and the Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Galuzin.

During the negotiations, the parties reviewed the progress of preparations for future bilateral events, first of all, the state and prospects of mutual cooperation in the political, trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian areas.

They also focused on the ways to further advance beneficial cooperation within the international and regional organization and to expand the contractual and legal basis of bilateral ties.

It was agreed to continue regular contacts between the Foreign Ministries to develop new initiatives and proposals aimed at deepening the relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance ties.
