Migrant Resource Center could open in Tashkent

Uzbek Ambassador Abat Faizullaev met with the General Director of the International Center for the Migration Policy Development of (ICMPD) and the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria, Michael Spindelegger, Dunyo said.

At the meeting, the parties discussed hiring Uzbeks for European jobs, implementation of the system of safe, orderly and legal labor migration to foreign countries.

Reportedly, they agreed to open a Migrant Resource Center in Tashkent in cooperation with ICMPD and the relevant authorities of Uzbekistan.

The mission of this center will be to provide relevant information to Uzbeks who wish to work in European countries, including familiarization with the national legislation, culture and employment procedures of the countries, and to provide them with relevant consulting services.
