Kyrgyzstan celebrates March 21the day of the spring equinox, Nooruz holiday.
It marks the arrival of spring and the beginning of the new year.
Traditional dishes are displayed on the table, with sumolok being the main treat. On this day, people traditionally settle their debts, reconcile with everyone, and organize various games.
The main festive events in honor of Nooruz are organized in Bishkek on central Ala-Too square.
