Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan discussed issues of cooperation in the field of health

According to the information provided to Trend by the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan, a meeting was held today in Bishkek between Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev and Ambassador of Pakistan Hasan Ali Zaigam.

According to the information, the issues to be raised at the Global Health Security Summit, which will be attended by the Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan, were discussed.

Aspects of cooperation between higher educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan were also discussed, including the possibility of exchange programmes for medical students. The possibility of cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector was discussed, including the possibility of establishing joint ventures in Kyrgyzstan.

As a result of the meeting, it was announced that bilateral meetings with interested parties will be organised on the margins of the Global Summit to further develop the issues discussed.
