Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov meets with Head of EU Delegation to Kyrgyzstan Eduard Auer

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov received on Wednesday Head of the European Union Delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic, Ambassador Eduard Auer on the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission in the country, the press service of the Kyrgyz president reported.

The Kyrgyz leader warmly greeted the ambassador and noted that over the last 30 years, the European Union has been one of the main reliable partners of Kyrgyzstan.

Sadyr Zhaparov drew special attention to the cooperation of Kyrgyzstan and the European Union on implementation of joint projects in the field of green economy, digital transformation, education and health, strengthening of border and drug security, increasing scholarship quotas for students in scientific and academic exchange programs.

The president thanked Eduard Auer for his work as head of the EU Delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic and noted that he highly appreciated his contribution to strengthening bilateral relations.

In turn, the head of the Delegation of EU Delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic praised the achievements of Kyrgyzstan, stressing that in recent years the country has achieved good results.

Eduard Auer expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic.

He also appreciated the Consultative Meeting of Heads of States of Central Asia held in Cholpon-Ata.

During the meeting, there was also an exchange of views on expansion of partnership and cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the European Union, and implementation of joint projects with attraction of European investors to the country.
