Kyrgyz MFA meets with Ambassadors of Germany and France

On July 26, 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan  Kazakbaev received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kyrgyz Republic Monica Iversen and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Kyrgyz Republic François Delahousse to discuss the issues of creation new Franco-German cultural institute in Bishkek.

The heads of diplomatic missions in the Kyrgyz Republic informed the Kyrgyz side about the tasks and activities of the Franco-German Cultural Institute. Thus, at the initial stage in this institute is planning to open German and French language courses, then various cultural events can be held.

At the same time, the Heads of diplomatic missions in the Kyrgyz Republic noted that in the Central Asian region such an institution will be created only in Kyrgyzstan and will be the fourth in the world, which confirms the successful cooperation of the German and French sides with Kyrgyzstan in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.

During the meeting, the parties also noted with satisfaction the high level of cooperation with Germany and France in bilateral and multilateral format, there was an exchange of views on the current cooperation and prospects of development of political conversation between the countries. Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev also expressed hope that this initiative will strengthen cultural and humanitarian cooperation between our countries.
