Kazakh president’s inauguration to be held on November 26

The inauguration of the newly elected Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will take place on November 26, Report informs referring to Kazakh media.

According to the results of the seventh presidential elections held on November 20, he won 6,456,392 votes, or 81.31%.

The Kazakh Central Election Commission held a meeting on the results of the presidential elections that took place on November 20.

The voter turnout in the extraordinary presidential elections in Kazakhstan was 69.44%. Some 11.953 million citizens have the right to vote in Kazakhstan, of which 8,300,046 people cast their votes.

A total of 10,101 polling stations were open on election day, including 68 polling stations in 53 countries abroad.
