Export of goods and services to the USA topped $124.5 million in 2022, of which IT sector accounted for $ 79 million, or 63% of the total, said Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov.
According to him, the real value of Uzbekistan’s IT exports to the USA is even higher.
“Because there are quite many of freelancers out there whose work does not go through official,” he added.
“Apart large outsourcing companies like EPAM, our fellow countrymen in the USA can also earn additional cash using the facilities created in the IT park. Therefore, our successful exporters, who are officially working in the USA, shared their experience in an open dialogue with the participation of more than a hundred compatriots,” he added.
