The Fourth Consultative Meeting of Heads of States of Central Asia was held in Cholpon-Ata town, Issyk-Kul Oblast.
The summit was attended by Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow.
After mutual greetings and joint photographing ceremony, all the leaders of the countries addressed the Consultative Meeting, in which they noted the pressing problems of the region and voiced proposals to enhance the development of relations between the states and regional cooperation in all directions.
At the end of the Consultative Meeting, the presidents signed a number of documents, in particular, the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation for the Development of Central Asia in the XXI century and the Joint Statement.
The heads of state also decided to approve the Concept of Cooperation of Central Asian countries in multilateral formats, the Regional Program Green Agenda for Central Asia, and the Roadmap for regional cooperation in 2022-2024.
The Summit concluded with an official reception on behalf of Sadyr Zhaparov.
