US Undersecretary of State and Armenian Foreign Minister Discuss Baku-Yerevan Relations

US State Department Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations Louis Bono and Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan discussed the normalisation of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The meeting was held in Yerevan, the Report reported, citing Armenian media.

The sides also touched upon regional security issues.

Bono had previously met with Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan.

Last week, State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said that the date of a new meeting between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Washington has not yet been set.
