There were fortresses, mosques, different monuments in today’s Armenian territory, which was historical Azerbaijani land. But they were destroyed in mass,” said a member of the Observatory Council of Agency for State Support to Non-governmental Organizations Ilgar Orujov at the press conference on the assessment of the condition of Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage in Armenia, APA reports.

According to I. Orujov, the international community, especially UN structure, dealing with the protection of historical monuments, UNESCO should absolutely comment on the issue.
