Government of the United Kingdom has commented on the Khojaly Genocide on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the tragedy, APA‘s bureau in London reports.

The government’s comment on the tragedy has been asked in the written question by Member of the House of Commons of Parliament, Chairman of Azerbaijani Group Bob Blackman addressed to the government.

The position of the Government has been presented by Minister of State at the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office Chris Heaton-Harris. Minister of State has characterized the Khojaly genocide as one of the tragic pages of the Azerbaijani history in his response to Blackman’s question. He has reminded that the UK government, which was in office at the time of the Khojaly genocide, severely condemned occurrences.
