“Draft law on approval of Shusha Declaration on allied relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Republic of Turkey, this historical document was sent to the Parliament by President Ilham Aliyev for ratification,” said the chairman of International Relations and Interparliamental relations Committee Samad Seyidov presenting the document at the first plenary meeting of the Milli Majlis within spring session, APA reports.
“Our heart beats together with Turkey. This is one of the main documents of Azerbaijani statehood. This should be evaluated as the most important document in the field of protection of new reality created in the region. Shusha declaration is one of the documents ensuring the future of liberated Karabakh, Azerbaijan,” stressed S. Seyidov.
Speaker Sahiba Gafarova noted that S. Seyidov expressed the position of every deputy, every Azerbaijani: “We as members of the Milli Majlis of the 6th convocation happy that we were able to approve Shusha declaration.”
