Russia continues to work closely with Azerbaijan and Armenia on implementation of trilateral statement

“We continue to work closely with partners on the implementation of trilateral statement adopted in Sochi on November 26, 2021,” said Alexei Zaitsev, Deputy Head of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry at the briefing held today, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

“This statement envisages the establishment of a bilateral commission on delimitation and demarcation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border with the assistance of Russia. We are sure that formation of the commission and starting delimitation process will alow to prevent the occurrence of border incidents and in general will give an important contribution to the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan,” said the official of Russian MFA.
