Important events are expected in Iran-Azerbaijan relations, said Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian in an exclusive statement to APA‘s Tehran correspondent.
He said that Iran-Azerbaijan relations are at a very good level.
The Foreign Minister also commented on the visit of Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Rustam Gasemi to Azerbaijan, as well as the upcoming visit of Azerbaijani Defense Minister Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov to Iran.
“Mutual visits of various officials of the two countries show that our relations are in the right and good direction,” he said.
Huseyn Amir Abdullahian also recalled that he was received by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during his visit to Baku. The Minister noted that important developments are taking place in the relations between the two countries.
