Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom have discussed strategic partnership and investment opportunities in the energy sector, as well as current issues related to the development of economic and trade relations. Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov, shared details of the meeting on his “X” account. “A productive meeting was held in London with Gareth Thomas, the UK Minister for Services, Small Business and Exports, and Deputy Secretary of State for Business and Trade. We discussed the strategic partnership and investment opportunities between our countries in the energy sector, as well as current issues related to the development of trade and economic ties,” the post stated.
