Armenia’s Presidential candidate speaks about relations with Baku and Ankara: “Peace is necessary”

“Armenia should live with Azerbaijan and Turkey in a peaceful condition,” said the Armenia’s presidential candidate of the Civil Contract party Vahagn Khachatryan on Public Television, APA reports.

Khachatryan has added that he does not describe waging a war, conflict with neighbors.

“I consider that it is necessary to live only in peace with our neighbors,” Khachatryan said.

Khachatryan added that peace is the only option for the life and development of Armenian citizens.

The presidential candidate said he was positive about the normalization of Turkish-Armenian relations.

‘The process must be continued, which in turn will lead establishment of economical and political relations,” Khachatryan stressed.
