“Azerbaijan has become an important supplier of gas to Europe,” said US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O’Brien in a briefing he held for the journalists.
“Some European countries have completely gave up on Russian gas, and some have reduced the volume of gas they purchase. Azerbaijan has become one of the countries that play a leading role in energy diversification for Europe,” – the diplomat emphasized.
