Azerbaijan and Belarus discussed cooperation on digitalization of health systems

A meeting was held at the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan with the Ambassador of Belarus to Azerbaijan Dmitri Pinevich. Minister Teymur Musayev welcomed the guests and congratulated Pinevich on his new post, Trend news agency reported citing Azerbaijani Health Ministry sources. Musayev noted that relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus are expanding in many areas and emphasized that regular meetings of heads of state and mutual visits of members of the government play an important role in the development of cooperation between the two countries. Expressing satisfaction with the fruitful cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus in the field of health, Musayev noted that mutual visits are organized for the exchange of experience and professional development of doctors specializing in cardiology, oncology, transplantology, neurosurgery and other medical fields. Pointing out that the pharmaceutical sector is in a leading position in terms of innovation level in the world, Musayev underlined the successful cooperation between the two countries in this field.
