Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan and Minister of Forestry of Belarus discussed cooperation in the field of forestry

Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Belarus Ermek Ibraimov met with Minister of Forestry of Belarus Alexander Kulik and discussed issues of cooperation in the field of forestry. During the meeting, topics such as forest growing and restoration projects, environmental protection and exchange of experience in the forestry sector between the two countries were discussed. Ambassador Ibraimov noted that it is of great importance for Kyrgyzstan to benefit from Belarus’ experience in forestry. Minister Kulik noted the potential of the two countries to cooperate in the field of natural resource conservation and sustainable forestry practices. It was also announced that a consensus was reached on the development of existing projects and the launch of new initiatives. The meeting was considered as an important step in strengthening cooperation between the two countries on environment and natural resources.
