Akylbek Japarov invites German entrepreneurs to visit Kyrgyzstan

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov delivered a speech at the Kyrgyz-German Business Forum in Munich during his working visit to Germany, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.

He noted that relations between Kyrgyzstan and Germany have strengthened since the first Kyrgyz-German Business Forum held in Hamburg a year ago, and that there is a mutual interest in deepening cooperation.

“We want to build a completely new Kyrgyzstan, open to mutually beneficial cooperation with international partners,” Japarov said, inviting German entrepreneurs to consider investing in Kyrgyzstan and participating in the implementation of plans for the country’s development.

Japarov emphasized that the creation of new industries in Kyrgyzstan require qualified personnel. 

The Chairman added that more than 180 joint Kyrgyz-German enterprises operate in Kyrgyzstan in trade, industry, agriculture, tourism, energy, education and services spheres.

He emphasized that investments are needed to revive the economy of any country and implement large infrastructure projects.

“Our President announced a completely new policy towards investors several years ago. In controversial situations, we will proceed from the position that the investor is always right unless proven otherwise,” he said.

He added that in support of the new investment policy, a set of regulations was adopted aimed at increasing investor confidence, creating a favorable investment climate and business environment, including the protection of property.

At the end of his speech, Akylbek Japarov invited German entrepreneurs to visit Kyrgyzstan.
