Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubayev attended the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in Almaty. During the meeting, the issues of multilateral cooperation among the CIS member states, regional security and economic integration were discussed. Kulubayev emphasized the importance that Kyrgyzstan attaches to regional cooperation and called for the development of joint projects and increasing trade volume. Within the framework of the event, Kulubayev also held bilateral meetings with foreign ministers of other CIS countries. During the talks, the strengthening of Kyrgyzstan’s relations with neighboring countries and the possibilities of cross-border cooperation were discussed. At the end of the meeting, the foreign ministers of the CIS member states issued a joint declaration.
