Informal meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers to be held in Norway in 2023

An informal meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers will be held in Norway in 2023, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a press conference following the first day of the meeting of the foreign ministers of the alliance countries, Report informs referring to TASS.

He noted that he welcomed Norway’s offer to hold a ministerial meeting next year in the country.

At the same time, the secretary-general did not specify when exactly the meeting would take place. Traditionally, NATO announces its meetings a maximum of a month in advance, with the exception of the dates of summits of heads of state and government, which are announced in advance.

An informal meeting of the foreign ministers of NATO countries is taking place on November 29-30 in Bucharest. At the center of the ministerial agenda is the war in Ukraine, in particular support for Kyiv.
